Hailing from Hallsville, Texas, I now live in Longview, with my wife, Kami, and 2 daughters, Emma and Eleanor. I met my wife during my junior year of highschool, and we have been together since October 2005. I graduated from Hallsville High School in 2007, and enlisted in the Army to protect those that matter to me. In 2019, I graduated from ETBU with my Bachelor's degree, and later pursued my certification to teach. In 2023, I founded Beard Family Insurance and now use all of my experiences to assist people navigate policy selection and understanding.

As an agent, licensed in Texas and South Carolina, my job just begins when the application is submitted. I stand by my clients through thick and thin, answering questions about how deductibles, O.O.P. expenses, co-insurance, copays, and other benefits work. As a former teacher, my goal is to help people better understand the coverage available, and how it works, so that they can make a well-informed decision.

In March 2023, my wife gave birth to our first child, and we didn't have a clue about health insurance, and what all we needed or didn't, and I had no one to help me navigate and understand the different plans and benefits. In October 2023, I founded Beard Family Insurance to help people not only navigate and select the plan that fits their needs and budget, but also understand what they are selecting, whether it's a plan offered by their employer, or navigating the Marketplace or private options. As a husband and Dad, family is at the heart of what I do; to me, every client is a brother or sister, and my focus is to treat them as such.
